Odelsgut is based at Haug Farm, a family-run farm in Fimreite by the Sognefjord.
Here, we grow fruit and produce award-winning cider and apple juice from apples grown on the farm. During the summer season, we welcome visitors for farm visits and scheduled tastings. During your visit, you’ll get to know the orchards, the farm, and the history of the area. Alexander, the current heir to the farm, shares stories about farm life, fruit growing, and Fimreite - with the Sognefjord as a backdrop and the site of the Battle of Fimreite in 1184 just offshore. We also welcome private guests and small groups by appointment. Visits can be tailored to include a guided tour, local food and flavours, and, by prior arrangement, guests can also arrive by boat directly at the farm’s own jetty. The farm shop is open during the season, offering cider, apple juice, and other products from the farm.
